More than a set of explanations.

Model the ideas

Visual explanations, worked examples and click-to-reveal sequences help you guide the discussion.

Teach with guidance

Speaker notes throughout support questioning and delivery. Use the vocabulary, retrieval and misconception checks as you teach.

Move from practice to exam answers

Foundation, Secure and Stretch tasks sit alongside command-word guidance, exam practice and mark schemes in every deck.

Keep the original teaching files

Download all three editable PowerPoints in one ZIP, with a read-me file and a secure online quick-start guide.

Present in PowerPoint Slide Show mode

Use Microsoft PowerPoint for the intended animation and answer reveals. Read the speaker notes before teaching, and spread each topic across sessions as needed.

Before you purchase

Useful details

Which OCR paper and unit does this cover?

This is OCR GCSE Computer Science J277, Component 01 / Paper 1: Computer systems, unit 1.1 Systems architecture. The three decks cover 1.1.1 Architecture of the CPU, 1.1.2 CPU performance and 1.1.3 Embedded systems. It is a unit pack, rather than a complete Paper 1 course.

What exactly will I receive?

One ZIP download containing the three original editable .pptx files, plus a read-me file. The decks contain 32, 28 and 30 slides respectively: 90 in total. Speaker notes are included on every slide, 53 slides contain animation, and each deck includes exam practice, answers and a one-page knowledge organiser. Your secure resource area also includes an online quick-start guide.

Are the PowerPoints different for teachers, tutors and home educators?

The teaching content is the same. Choose the licence for how you will use it: one named learner, one tutor or teacher with their own students, or multiple teachers in one school department. Price and sharing permissions depend on the licence.

Can I use this for home education?

Yes, with a parent or tutor guiding the learning. Use the explanations and worked examples, pause for the activities, then reveal and discuss the answers. Pacing is flexible; a topic can run across more than one session. This is a guided teaching resource, rather than a self-marking course.

Which software should I use?

Use Microsoft PowerPoint in Slide Show mode for the intended animations, click-to-reveal answers and navigation. Click or press the space bar to move through reveals. Other presentation viewers may change the layout or interactions. Editing view can expose answers, so present in Slide Show mode when teaching.

How do I get access after purchase?

Choose your licence and send the pre-filled enquiry. We confirm permitted use, the price and payment details before payment. After payment is confirmed, the pack is made available through your secure My Resources account. The downloadable PowerPoints are supplied privately; the public website shows selected slide previews.

LogicPath Education is an independent resource provider and is not endorsed by or affiliated with OCR. The public samples are images from the supplied PowerPoints; the complete teaching files are delivered privately.
