2. Information we may collect

Depending on how you use the website or services, this may include:

  • Parent or guardian name, email address, telephone number and WhatsApp details.
  • Student name, age, year group, school curriculum, current attainment, targets and learning needs.
  • Enquiry details and messages submitted through the website, email or WhatsApp.
  • Lesson records, attendance, homework, submissions, tutor feedback and parent summaries.
  • Assessment marks, written feedback and secure assessment documents.
  • Assigned learning resources and student-account information.
  • Invoice, payment-status and bank-transfer reference information. LogicPath Education does not request or store parents’ online-banking passwords or full card details.
  • Technical and security information generated when the website or private portal is used, such as login, device, browser, IP or error information where this is processed by the hosting and platform providers.

3. How information is collected

Information may be collected when you:

  • complete an enquiry or review form;
  • contact LogicPath Education by email, telephone or WhatsApp;
  • book, attend or pay for tuition;
  • purchase or request a digital resource;
  • create or use a student account;
  • submit homework or assessment work;
  • interact with the website or secure private portal.

4. Why information is used

Personal information is used only where reasonably necessary to:

  • respond to enquiries and assess whether tuition is suitable;
  • arrange, deliver and manage tuition services;
  • personalise teaching, resources, homework and feedback;
  • maintain lesson, attendance, assessment and progress records;
  • provide and secure student accounts and private resources;
  • create invoices, record payments and maintain financial records;
  • communicate with parents, guardians and students about the service;
  • protect the website, private portal, users and business from misuse or security threats;
  • meet safeguarding, legal, accounting or regulatory responsibilities;
  • improve the website and services using non-identifying or aggregated information where appropriate.

5. Lawful and responsible use

Information is processed where it is needed to take steps requested before tuition begins, to provide the agreed service, to meet legal obligations, or for legitimate and proportionate interests such as maintaining records, communicating with families, improving services and protecting the platform.

Where consent is the appropriate basis, it may be withdrawn for future use by contacting LogicPath Education. Withdrawal does not make earlier lawful processing invalid.

6. Children and student information

LogicPath Education works with children and young people. A parent or guardian should normally make the initial enquiry and provide the information needed to arrange tuition.

Student information is used only for teaching, assessment, feedback, administration, safeguarding and related service purposes. It is not sold to advertisers.

Parents and students should avoid including unnecessary sensitive information in messages, homework or uploads.

7. Who information may be shared with

Information is not sold. It may be processed by trusted service providers where necessary to run the website and tuition service, including:

  • Vercel, for website hosting and delivery;
  • Supabase, for authentication, database and secure storage services;
  • Formspree, for website form delivery;
  • email and communications providers, including WhatsApp where you choose to use it;
  • banking providers, for bank-transfer records and payment administration;
  • professional advisers, regulators, authorities or safeguarding bodies where disclosure is legally required or necessary to protect a person.

These providers may operate or store information in different countries. Reasonable steps are taken to use reputable providers and appropriate safeguards.

8. Website analytics, cookies and future marketing

LogicPath Education currently uses Google Search Console to understand how the website appears in Google Search. It is not currently stated that optional visitor analytics or advertising pixels are active on the website.

Essential technologies may still be used for security, authentication, session management and core website functions.

Before optional analytics, advertising pixels or remarketing tools are introduced, this policy will be updated and an appropriate cookie or consent mechanism will be added where required.

Enquiry or tuition contact details will not automatically be added to a marketing list. Any future email or messaging marketing will use an appropriate permission and opt-out process.

9. Security

Reasonable technical and organisational steps are used to protect personal information. These include secure authentication, restricted admin access, database security controls and private student-resource access.

No internet or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Parents and students should use strong passwords, keep login details private and report suspected unauthorised access promptly.

10. How long information is kept

Information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including the delivery of tuition, maintaining student progress records, resolving queries, safeguarding, security, and meeting legal, accounting or tax obligations.

Enquiries that do not lead to a service relationship may be deleted sooner. Some invoice and payment records may need to be retained for longer where required for financial or legal purposes.

When information is no longer required, it will be deleted, anonymised or securely archived as appropriate.

11. Your choices and rights

Depending on the law that applies to your circumstances, you may ask LogicPath Education to:

  • confirm whether your personal information is being used;
  • provide access to information held about you;
  • correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • delete information where there is no lawful reason to retain it;
  • restrict or object to certain uses;
  • withdraw consent where processing relies on consent;
  • provide information in a usable format where applicable.

Identity may need to be verified before a request is completed. Rights are not always absolute, and some information may need to be retained for legal, safeguarding or contractual reasons.

12. Questions and complaints
